Also used a CVS coupon for $5/$25 bringing oop down even more.

Now… I know the pillsbury items seem to be priced a little high.. but the promo is buy 10 items and get $4 bucks back! Also with the General Mills promo buy 20 items and get $6 bucks back.

So that brought total bill down by $10.

Pretty good trip there!

I do have to say that with my honey there he can do the math in his head and has it worked out before I can reach for my calculator. I am so thankful that he loves this as much as I do!

Hope this encourages many of you to look at your grocery bill… watch your sales whatever your store may be in your area. You can SAVE this much $$$ using coupons on your grocery bill.

2 pack boneless fresh chicken (a little more than what I normally pay, $2.50 lb.) = $4.49 each!

(too much for me! usually the buy1 get 2, or buy 2 get 3 are better deals, I can do that everyday at Lowe’s foods, so no more chicken on this super doubles trips)

2 packs of HT white rice b1/g1 (.60 cent’s each) = $1.20

4 packages of family size Picsweet Veges b1/g1 used 2 .75/2 = $1.25 each (family size bags)

4 Hillshire Farms Lunchmeat $2/7 used 4 $1/1 = $1.50 each (good price for this lunch meat)

2 HT Shredded Cheese b1/g1 = $1.32 each

Not as good as previous deals.. BUT!!! I will take that. The chicken got me! I would not suggest stocking up on that deal. That is to high for that kind of sale. You are not really getting a deal.

Going back tonight to take advantage of the Pillbury and the General Mills deals.

This trip should be a very low OOP!

Just a tip… if you are close to a Harris Teeter and can go late (open 24 hours) , the store is pretty much to yourself and they are restocking, so you have a better chance of getting your FREEBIEs and CHEAPIEs!

I stopped by CVS tonight to get some valentine’s specials and ended up getting so much more, but so glad that I did!

I had a $5/$25 CVS coupon that I used along with a 20% off entire purchase along with the coupons above bringing my total down by $11.98.

I did go over my $30 challenge, but with hubby calling me telling me take advantage of the pepsi product deal.. and the meal deal one more time… I went over. BUT… I still saved alot of money! This is what I bought and how I did it!

I also recieved a $10 off of my order for purchasing $35 worth of Unilever Products as well as $4 off of my order for purchasing 4 of the General Mills cereals. This helped to bring my total down by $14 dollars just by taking advantage of the store deals. Also had a $1 FL coupon off of my next order so right there is $15 dollars in free money to apply to my order.

So with all of that posted and said… I want you to know you can save money at Food Lion even though they don’t double. Now.. if you can save 65% at a store that does not double,, imagine what you can do at a store that does!!!!
So again..

Ok~~ for my Lowe’s food’s $30 challenge for myself today… well.. I went over.. just a little.. $10 bucks!!! BUT, the deals on fresh meats were so good.. that I grabbed a couple of extra things…
Overall I saved about 65% with a $2.50 CAT OYNO. And a coupon for the cat food that I use. So I was pretty please. Retail $ 115.42 OOP $ 40.30 65% saved. Which is pretty good at Lowe’s food’s for me.
